We do like to remind people to use caution with our lights. While they don't get hot, Tru-Tone bulbs are still an electrical device that operate at household voltage (120 V AC). As such, if one of the glass enclosures were to break, the electrical parts would be exposed.
While it's unlikely, we would be absolutely devastated if an accident were to occur with our bulbs that hurt a loved one. We highly recommend treating the bulbs with the same care and caution you would any other electrical device. So while they are safe to use around children and pets, proper supervision is always advised.
While it may make for cute photos, this also means you should resist the urge to decorate your loved ones and pets with actively powered strings of lights.
