All Tru-Tone light bulbs work with any standard light strings, or mixed together with other LED or incandescent bulbs, as long as you keep in mind the electrical rating for the light string in question. Our vintage style light strings can also be used with any standard, compatible size light bulbs.
In extremely rare instances we've learned of some specialized light strings that have taller sockets which may cause issues with our bulbs being able to thread far enough to make contact. You can see what these sockets look like below and read more at the Troubleshooting page on our site. We've only encountered 2 of these light strings to date, so it's not a common problem.
