Unfortunately, because of their unique wiring for DC power, Tru-Tone Mini Lites will not work with traditional incandescent red-tipped blinker/flasher bulbs. Installing one will have no effect, so while not harmful, getting a strand to blink on and off is not currently possible with our Mini Lites.
We hope to improve our Mini Lites offerings over time and introduce additional features that folks know and love from incandescent mini lights of yore.
