All Tru-Tone bulbs use our own custom, warm-white LED filament that closely resembles the brightness, warmth and shape of traditional tungsten filaments and glows at an ultra-warm 2200K color temperature.
We never use colored diodes in our bulbs. While vividly colored LED’s have their place, they tend to have a more modern, saturated and cool or “electronic” appearance from their very narrow spectrum of light.
