We offer 2 sizes of light strings that correspond with C7 or C9 bulbs.
C7 bulbs have an E12 or Candelabra base and need an E12/C7 light string. Our E12/C7 light strings come in 2 styles: Classic (with vinyl twisted pair wires) and Deluxe (with fabric covered twisted pair wires).
C9 bulbs have an E17 or Intermediate base and need an E17/C9 light string. These are available only in the Classic style, with vinyl twisted pair wires. We do not currently offer a C9 Deluxe light string.
We sell light strings with two different lengths: 10 socket and 25 socket. These lengths allow you to build a custom light string with our 5-packs of bulbs or our 25-count boxes.
Tru-Tone bulbs can also be used in most other light strings (or fixtures) from third party sellers, including commercially available SPT-1 light strings, which usually have standard paired wiring and come in a variety of lengths, colors, and spacing. Always be sure that you are purchasing a light string with the correct size sockets for your bulbs:
For C7 bulbs: E12 or Candelabra sockets.
For C9 bulbs: E17 or Intermediate sockets.
We do not currently offer strings for S14 bulbs. S14 bulbs use an E26 or Medium base and strings for them can be commonly found from other sellers, or big box retailers who sell patio light strings.
